ICSEF 2018 Bringing together scientists & engineers working in the field of Energy and Resource Use in Food Chains
Given its success in 2017 the Centre for Sustainable Energy use in Food chains (CSEF) are pleased to announce their 2nd International Conference, which will report on the latest thinking, technologies and approaches for energy demand reduction and minimisation of resource use, including water and waste, across all stages of food chains from primary production to consumption and waste management.
The aim of the conference is to bring together individuals from different disciplines whose common interest is energy demand reduction in food chains. Given the major challenges now facing the food and energy sectors, this conference provides an ideal opportunity to discuss ways of addressing these challenges, network and meet experts in these areas.
The conference will include an international workshop on Energy Recovery Conversion and Management ‘ERCoM 2018’ which will run parallel to the main event. This follows on from the international workshop on Heat Recovery and Efficient Utilisation of Waste Heat held at ICSEF 2017 and the objective is to report on the latest thinking, new approaches, technology developments and practices for waste heat recovery, its efficient utilisation and conversion to different forms such as electrical power.
ICSEF 2018 invites academic and industrial experts to submit abstract(s) in one or more of the conference themes and join them at ICSEF 2018 in Cyprus.
